Lyft Pillar Dock
Built off of learnings of more than 15 years of delivering station-based bikeshare in the most complex urban environments in the world, our Lyft Pillar Dock offers a reliable locking technology and the capacity for modular deployments.Â
Docks can be connected to the grid to charge ebikes and escooters or operate independently with solar panels.Â

An energy efficient design
Our dock operates with very low power consumption. Non-charging docks are powered by solar panels, with batteries that allow them to remain fully functional for months even without sunlight. Charging docks, which are connected to the grid, continue to start and end rides even in the event of a power outage.

Modular deployments
Non-charging docks can be deployed independently, allowing stations to be configured with as few as a single dock, or arranged across intersections, and around obstacles like trees.

Versatility
The dock is designed for compatibility, accommodating both current and future docked bike and scooter models. It’s also compatible with many types of baseplates, both new and pre-existing. And its built-in NFC reader allows riders to unlock vehicles using either the mobile app or a transit card.

Our steel dock is built for an extended lifespan and requires minimal maintenance, thanks to an exterior that's highly resistant to corrosion and protects internal components.
Lyft Obelisk Station Cabinet
Our station cabinet is designed with flexibility in mind, giving operators the option to add or change modules as city goals and objectives evolve.Â
When connected to the grid, the cabinet is enabled to charge ebikes and escooters, dynamically prioritizing vehicles with the lowest charge, and blocking low charge vehicles from rental until a configurable minimum threshold is met.Â

Modularity
Optional integrations include 2 backlit panels for ads and maps, a 12” display, and an EMV payment terminal for walk-up rentals. A beacon light is configurable to signal station availability, and there is dedicated space for an internal electrical meter or CCTV camera.

Reliability
Continues operating through a power outage utilizing batteries to ensure uninterrupted service. Optional solar panels can power non-charging cabinets or charging cabinets awaiting grid connection.

Durability
The cabinet’s steel shell exterior is built for an extended lifespan and minimal maintenance, with corrosion-resistant materials and well-protected internal components.

Compatibility
Cities with an existing station footprint only need to replace the cabinet, not the entire station. Cabinets can be seamlessly placed on existing sites without altering the underlying infrastructure.
